A ship passing by the Historic S. S. Atlantus Concrete Ship in Cape May Point New Jersey.
From the sign on Sunset Beach:
S. S. Atlantus:
Remains of the experimental concrete ship. One of twelve built during World War 1. Proven impractical after several trans-Atlantic trips
because of weight. Towed and sunk here as wharf in 1926.
